Freebie From Glamour Test Panel - The New Clearasil Daily Clear PerfectaWash

Did you guess what was in my Glamour Test Panel Box?

Nope?
I'm not surprised, this gadget isn't even in the shops until January!

It's the new 'Clearisil Daily Clear PerfectaWash', containing, Superfruits Extracts & Vitamin E refill facewash, which is specifically designed for oily skin that is prone to breakouts.
But, it's not just a bottle of face wash, it also comes with an Automatic Face Wash Dispenser, kind of along the same lines as the no-touch hand washes that are on the scene at the moment.

At first I was a little confused, the touch-free hand soap is designed as a more hygienic to wash your hands after you go to the toilet, but why would you need a cleaner way to wash your face?
However, once I read the information Glamour provided, it made a bit more sense.
Basically, the concept is to give you the perfect dose of face wash, meaning you get the right amount to clean your skin without drying it out. The refill provides 100 washes, which if used morning and night, should last around 7 weeks.
The dispenser takes 3AA batteries, provided with the dispenser, you just switch it on at the back, wait till the blue light stops flashing and then place your hand under the dispenser.
I was a little surprised at how much face wash they recommend you to use, the amount provided was at least double as to what I would normally use.

The face wash itself is really nice, effective at reducing oil, yet gentle.
But, something just isn't selling it to me, I think it's because Clearasil are trying to solve a problem that no one really has. I mean, we all know how to wash our face, right?
Plus, I keep accidently activating it, and I'm pretty sure, my flatmates have been using it as hand soap...

I am really enjoying using the product, and like I said, the face wash is perfect for my skin but at an RRP of £12.99, I wouldn't purchase it myself.
However, as a freebie, it's a fab item to try, and I'm not gonna lie, it's nice to try an 'exclusive-not-even-available-in shops-yet' product.

Do you think there is a need for this product?
Is it something you'd like to try?

Fancy Some Free Stuff from Glamour?

Fancy testing brand new beauty products?
Of course you do, bit of a silly question really.
I thought I'd let you in on a secret, The Glamour Panel.

I read Glamour magazine, and am a subscriber anyway, but you don't need to buy the magazine, or even be a fan of it.
I noticed an ad in the magazine a while back asking offering readers a chance to test the latest products, and all they would have to do in return is complete a short survey, stating what they thought about the product.

To join, you just need to give your contact details and complete a short survey, Glamour also point out that your details will not be sold on or traded, and are kept in the strictest confidence.

When a new product comes around that they would like you to test, they send you an email, you complete a short survey stating your skin/hair type, and you receive the product in the post a couple of days later.

So far, I've received a full size Aveeno Moisturising Creamy Oil,

I couldn't find an RRP for this products, but other products in the Aveeno range retail for around £5-8. I couldn't fault that the moisturiser was nourishing, and non-greasy, but it absolutely stank of Play Dough, remember that?
The smell was just too off-putting, and really discouraged me from using the Moisturiser.

Then, last week, I received this box in the post,

Containing this bad boy, can you guess what it is?

I'm gonna leave you hanging a bit longer, but it is something brand new, and well worth a look...
You can see a full review of the product in this post.

I would really recommend signing up to the glamour panel, it's free and you might get a few freebies, plus when you sign up you automatically get entered into a prize draw to win vouchers and gifts.

You can sign up for the panel here.

Are you signed up to the Glamour Panel?

Free Nails Inc Polish worth £11 with Glamour Magazine

Just a quick post to mention that included with this month's Glamour Magazine is a free full-size Nails Inc Nail Polish worth £11. The magazine itself is only £2, so you are effectively saving £9 and getting a free magazine, not too shabby.
The shade I received was Basil Street a pale soft toffee colour, but there are three other colours available. As far as I can see from the picture in last month's issue, they are a deep red, a dark mauve pink and a black/possibly dark brown, (names not known I'm afraid).
The Polish comes in a lovely little box and is not marked with any ugly, "Do Not Resell" or "Free with Glamour", so if it's not your cup of tea, you could even put it away as a cheeky Christmas or Birthday Present.
My lovely boyfriend, James, bought me a subscription to Glamour, so I would have got the magazine anyway, but if you're not, it's definitely worth checking out.
Also, when I subscribed around 2 weeks ago, I got a fab free gift, a Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer, worth £27.
My free gift only arrived in the post a couple of days ago, so I'm yet to try it out properly, but it will feature in my Battle of The Primers post, (soon to come).
My subscription was only £15 for 12 months, but so far I've already received £38 worth of freebies, not to mention the magazine itself, so I think it was well worth the money.
You can subscribe to Glamour, and receive the free Murad Primer, here.
This post is in no way sponsored or affiliated with Glamour, I just thought I'd pass on a good deal. And if, like me, you buy Glamour anyway, it's worth having a look.
